Two sibling geldings settling their differences. This action photograph caught my attention because this is a position you rarely see horses in. It's a "right time, right place" sort of shot. It captures the powerful hind legs and intense facial expressions of the geldings. The tails and the forelegs give a lot of movement to the image and are my favourite aspect. A bit of dust and dirt kicked up around some weeds and grass make the picture complete.
"Squaring up" is a term boxers use when they are sizing up their opponent which I thought was appropriate for the drawing. It also suggest that these two are getting square or equal with each other.
