This piece depicts a mob of cleanskin Pilbara cattle from Limestone Station, WA. The reference photograph taken by my talented chopper pilot friend shows a young micky bull starring at the alien who has captured him, looking for a get away or pummelling opportunity. I particularly chose this photo for the bull's horns, the immediate contrast between light & dark and simply the way the bull is hiding behind the other cattle.
