I painted this little guy all freehand and without any worries of how it turned out. This is why I have called it "Freedom". Visually it is very different to my extremely controlled drawings. I have learned that to make abstract paintings I must remain uninhibited by what I want the end piece to look like. For me, not being in control of the technique I'm using is something I struggle with. I am very happy with how my first abstract painting looks.
